Common task

Convert a HEIC or iPhone photo to JPG

Get a HEIC file you can't open? Drop it in and download a regular JPG. Works on RAW, PSD, and 70+ other formats.

iPhones save photos as HEIC by default — Apple’s compressed format. Windows can’t open them without an extra download, Google Slides won’t accept them, and half the time you can’t even attach one to an email without it converting silently to something weird. The Image Pro Convert tool turns a HEIC (or RAW, or PSD, or about 70 other formats) into a normal JPG or PNG in one step.

When to use this: A volunteer just sent you 40 photos from their iPhone and your Windows laptop can't open any of them, or a designer sent you a layered PSD and you need a flat JPG for the newsletter.

How to do it

  1. Drag the file (or up to 40 at once) into the upload area.
  2. Pick JPG for general use, PNG if you need transparency, or PDF if you want to email it as a printable doc.
  3. Hit Convert. The converted files download as a zip if you sent more than one.

One thing people miss

Image Pro runs on our server (the other tools run in your browser). Files get deleted within 60 seconds of processing and never get logged. If you’re handling something sensitive — say, an internal photo that hasn’t been published yet — that’s the relevant fact. The other tools never see your file at all; this one sees it briefly and then forgets it.
